ISK Fair and Flea Market
The kids' school held a fund-raiser today. The goal is to raise money to improve the sports field. ISK is presently housed in a group of town houses. So, the field behind the apartments isn't exactly conducive to the dozens of kids that must exercise and play there each school day. The Fair and Flea Market featured arts and crafts, food, drinks and entertainment. Part of the entertainment included these traditional Rwandan dancers and drummers. This is the second time that we've seen them in action and we have been quite impressed with their skill and enthusiasm despite their youth. The kids had a lot of fun and so did I. This may become an annual event at ISK as it looked as if it was going to be pretty successful.
